The only reason I'm giving this place 1 star is because of the food. The food and gelato are good but the service can be horrendous. I've never felt so discriminated against as I did here. We were dressed appropriately and didn't mind the wait for a table but once sat, we had to go get someone to take our order and our check. We were completely ignored while every table around us was being helped and asked how their food was. The food isn't worth the service we received. My husband and I, with his beard and sleeve obviously don't belong in Heber City according to these folks.

Great moist and juicy turkey. They also have a pulled pork sandwich that has fantastic mustard cole slaw. Since I don't like cole slaw, it takes a lot for me to say it was gooooood.

Still the best in Wasatch County. Still the best in Summit County as well. Well worth swinging wide for. I keep coming here, and it's always good.

Great Food, Great Catering, and some of the best Gelato in Utah! Food: When you have the need for some good comfort food, with a sophisticated twist, this is the place. The Miss Piggy is by far my favorite pulled pork ever. Served on Texas toast, with homemade BBQ sauce and pulled pork, toped with Carolina coleslaw. I don't care how bad of day you have had, this sandwich will put a giant smile on you! If that will not do it it, make sure to treat yourself to their fresh, homemade gelato. I still have not been able to find which one is the best...more testing is needed. Drinks: Nothing to special here, just your normal wine and beer selection for the region. But move beyond the alcoholic, and you will find one of the best ice cream shake selections in Heber and Park City. Atmosphere: Small town feel with lots of local artwork on the walls. The views are wonderful, and the service has always made me feel like I was a long lost family member. The service is always quick and pleasant. One more item, I have used them for BBQ catering several times, and every-time, the food was a hit...and the gelato made the events one my friends continue to talk about!

We're staying in Midway for a week, and while we were out learning the lay of the land, we got a little hungry. So I Googled places to eat, and this was the number one Yelp entry. I was a little concerned because there were some criticisms of the portion sizes, the pricing, and the food itself. But since everything else in the area seemed to be a fast-food chain, and because there was lots of easy parking, we went in. Well...they had us at "Hello!" We were seated next to the fireplace (we're from California and weren't quite used to the -5 degree weather) and found so many yummy things on the menu that it took a while to decide. (And we thought the prices were fantastic, especially given the large portions of delicious food.) We went back the next day to take our family who came to visit from American Fork, and we'll likely head back again today for some hot drinks after snowshoeing. (The Gingerbread Hottie -- a mix of steamed milk, ginger, molasses, cinnamon and nutmeg was my idea of winter heaven!) Wish I could give this a 10-star review!

After a great session of tubing at Soldier's Hollow we stopped in at Spin Cafe. It wasn't just because it was Sunday, and most places were closed. It was the great recommendations from family. We walked in, and were welcomed by a great staff. Friendly and funny. Just the right sense of humor for our group. No sooner had we sat down, when our server asked if we wanted anything to drink...she hooked me at Bloody Mary. It was tasty enough that I had 2. For lunch I had the Miss Piggy. Wow. As I am writing this, I am wishing I could get my hands on another! If you're in Heber/Midway, avoid other locations that are simply trying too hard and give Spin a try. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service and amazing food. Unexpectedly delightful. Make sure you stop here.

Honestly, the WORST place I have ever eaten in my life. My husband and I have never complained to the manager about the food...in this case we felt that we had to let them know what was coming out of their kitchen. My husband's $17 steak, potatoes, and broccoli...steak (asked for rare) came out medium, the potatoes were bland, and the broccoli not seasoned. My butter sage ravioli ($13) was swimming in butter...not a butter sauce, but straight up butter. Once we finally decided to say something to management, they offered us free gelato...which was fantastic! That was the only thing that made me bump this up from a one star. It was just ridiculous how gross the food was for the amount they were charging!

Good spot in a fun little city. The decor is a little suspect (neon wagon wheel that is partially burnt out) but the food was REALLY good. Had the pulled pork sandwhich and the fish tacos and both were excellent.
(4)Juliana P.
Love it! Great atmosphere and the burgers are really good. My favorite part though was the gelato specially the baci flavor!
(5)Paul H.
Went here last night with my son and we had a very good meal. He had a buffalo burger and I had the Cowboy Steak special. Great service too. Value was pretty good for the quality of the food. Decor of the place is rather basic but other than that, I'd really recommend it.
(4)Laura N.
It was good, although the onion rings lacked flavor and were not worth the extra cost. Service was friendly and sincere. Lunch was $60 for 3 people. A little high
(4)Sam S.
Spin Cafe serves up some tasty grub at this hip Heber City location. Service was great and the food was event better.
(4)Travis C.
Pretty good food. Had the vegetarian burger. The bun tasted like it was freshly made. Fries were good. Draft beer was delicious and they know how to mix their margaritas. My daughter had the ravioli and loved it.

We've frequented Spin for years. For us, no trip to Heber is complete without at least one visit. On the meal side, the smoked meats are not to be missed, with the pulled pork being a favorite. The regular pulled pork sandwich is served with a really tasty mustard slaw. If you're feeling gluttonous, you could upgrade to the Miss Piggy. Instead of mere buns to house your pulled pork, sauce, and slaw, you get two grilled cheese sandwiches. I'll let that sink in for a while. It tastes at least as good as it sounds. The real star, for me, is the gelato. In the past, the gelato master has experimented with some really innovative flavors. One in particular, a combination of saffron and almond, has haunted me ever since tasting it. He doesn't seem to do that one anymore, but there are plenty of tasty treats to be had, including a chocolate and bacon gelato. Really highly recommended!

Longing for Twin Falls Idaho at this point. We were traveling back from a vacation in Colorado to Portland, OR and stopped for the night in Heber City. The Spin Cafe was close to our "motel" (a whole other story) and is the number one rated eating establishment in Heber City, Utah but not sure why. We came in late in the evening (after 8pm) and were only the third full table in the place. Although the food was OK, it took nearly an hour to actually get to our table. I had the Asian pork lettuce wraps and the pork was luke warm when it finally got to me but I wolfed it down anyway for fear I'd never see it again if i sent it back to the kitchen. Kid's quesadillas were totally average a bit skimpy on the cheese and ridiculously expensive for the small portion they got. My husband was fine with his beef brisket sandwich but also baffled by the crazy slow service in a nearly empty restaurant. And honestly, this place would flat out not survive in Portland - the food would be considered below average there and the service totally unacceptable.

Can't think of a better place to after a long day of playing in the snow! The pulled pork sandwich was delicious, the fries were outrageous - if anything, order them just to see how amazingly long and curly they are - and the gelato and hot chocolate was fantastic as well. My only complaint was the slaw was too overdressed for my taste, I was hoping for something a little more light to balance the heaviness of the rest of the meal. Otherwise I think I'd call this one of my new favorite comfort stops - for both ambience and food!
(4)Stephanie B.
We had dinner here on our way back to Park City from the Provo River. I would probably give this place a 3.5 stars if that was possible. My husband enjoyed his burger and onion rings. I had a spare ribs and thought they were good. My favorite part was probably the Tuscan broccoli on the side but the kids at most of it and so I didn't get much and the side portion was small. I didn't care much for their garlic potatoes as a side and wouldn't order them again. The kids meals are generous portions but I was disappointed my daughter's pasta came with french fries on the side. I should have asked for broccoli instead. I wish more kids menus had healthier options.
(4)Maria P.
I have eaten here twice and both times was thoroughly pleased and surprised by how good everything is. The most recent time I was here I brought a friend who was shocked by the fact that suck a cute and cozy place even existed in Heber! She was even more surprised by how good all of the food looked, the portions, the options and the taste. I had the lettuce wraps an appetizer as my entree. They were delicious and filling and for dessert I treated myself with the brownie sundae. It was amazing, warm brownie, a scoop of any flavor of homemade gelato with whip cream on top, YUM! If you are passing through town go here for some grub, it is so good.
(4)Delene O.
YUM! We loved it. Very friendly staff. Seated quickly and had water in from of us PRONTO! Food looked great and tasted great. We had the onion rings, Seattle BLT, Chicken wrap and fettuccine. It was all good. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town.
(5)Tiffany C.
Don't let the outside deter you, inside very lovely, customer service was great, and the food was awesome, great home cookin!

Taking a trip out of Midway into Heber for something different to eat for dinner, my family and I chose to dine at Spin Cafe. I read that the gelato/desserts were not to miss, but unfortunately I wasn't craving sweets Food: Shared family-style (2-3 stars) Tuscan Baked Pasta - Spinny pasta baked with asiago & ricotta cheeses, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes and fresh herbs. Surprisingly rich with the cheeses and what I would assume is a bechamel base. Vegetables made it interesting, but definitely a comfort food more than anything extremely creative. (3 stars) Cedar Plank Salmon - grilled to order on a cedar plank & served with real maple herb butter. Not a fan of the maple herb butter but I appreciated the roasted potatoes and broccoli that supplemented the grilled salmon (3 stars) Apple Slaw (1-2 Stars) - extremely generous with mayonnaise, which is not something I'm fond of, however my mom found it delightful. Service:(2-3 stars) As we had a later dinner than the general dinner crowd the restaurant was relatively empty save for 2 occupied tables. Our server was attentive, but not helpful in explaining the preparation of the food. As she was a picky eater, she hadn't tried most of the items I asked about, and unfortunately this lead to making a questionable food decision. Pro: Food is familiar. Gelato on display made it difficult to resist, but the generic flavors were not enticing enough to order Con: Prices for ordinary food were set higher than I would have wanted to pay. Overall: Unremarkable experience; nothing special, but not entirely a bad experience. Food is familiar and in that sense comforting, however I probably would not dine here again

yum

Really really fresh BBQ! Pretty much all gluten free, so you know they know what they're doing. Got the lettuce wraps and the meat was amazing! Best onion rings too. Save room for gelato at the end if you can! Totally worth the drive.

Yummy food and dessert for the whole fam!! I've gone here numerous times and love it! The atmosphere is sort of a modern chic Italian? It's cool and the people are friendly. They are more attentive to you than a lot of other places in town. The owner, Vincent always tried to come out and talk to his customers, which reminds me of the NYC places I used to love. Whatever specials he tells us, we try to choose from because we have yet to regret anything we order! Great cuisine and people! Also, save some room in there for their fresh, homemade Gelato!! Ciao, baby!!
(4)Leslie K.
This place is awesome, the food is fresh the place is clean and they have great gelato. I would give them a five star if their service was better. Maybe I caught them on a bad day where they were understaffed or just staffed with slightly inexperienced servers. We will definitely go back if we ever find ourselves in Heber.
(4)Bud H.
The food is pretty good, but when taking the price into consideration, I'm not sure that it's worth it.

We really wanted to be impressed by the spin café. Being hungry enough not to want to wait to get back to the Salt Lake Valley for food after the ice castle exhibit... but not particularly interested in the standard fare Heber city has to offer, we were excited to give this place a shot. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. Service and much of our food was just "OK" Which is fine if you're comparing to a chain joint at half the price.... But the Spin was not supposed to be that. The biggest disappointment was the Chopped Asian-Spiced Pork Lettuce Wraps. We absolutely love lettuce wraps on any other occasion, and at the recommendation of our server we ordered them extra spicy. Unfortunately there was nothing either Asian, Spiced or Chopped about these. It appears they use the same sweet, Carolina pulled pork as they do in their sandwiches.. just remade with a toss of peppers and onions. Served with a drizzle sauce that is sugary sweet, the combination was simply yuck and an awful attempt at anything Asian! I think the Spin cafe is trying to be something it's not, which kinda leaves me feeling taken advantage of. Can't speak for the Gelato but giving that a go would be the only reason for returning.

Great food, great space, healthy portions, Spin cafe is a winner. I had the Miss Piggy... it was really really good. My wife had the veggie sandwich - our kids had the grilled cheese and the chicken strips. All were served with a humongous portion of curly fries. The Spin Burger is really good as well and our fellow diners salads looked heaped full of fresh veggies. Had a great time - Service was awesome. I will definitely be back.
(4)Kevin B.
Great food! Every thing I've had there has been good. It is a little pricy but worth it.
(4)Tom D.
Don't have a lot of time to write, but the only reason I didn't give this place a 5-star rating is that we only ate there once. We had lunch at Spin yesterday and were really impressed. My wife had the wings and onion rings and a small salad and I had the Tuesday chicken BBQ (mild Alabama style) special. This place is comfortable and classy, yet affordable. Check it out!

After leaving Park City and heading back to Utah County we reviewed Yelp to help us find a place to eat. Came across Spin Cafe and were pleasantly surprised. Our two teenage kids were with us and everyone was pleased! We are going to make a special trip just to come eat here again. There are so many menu items to choose from and the food was great!
(5)Nettie A.
Really nice staff, great healthy food and yummy gelato.
(5)Eric L.
Spin burger.. Great! Service...Great! Price... $17 for lunch (burger and gellato) Overall great place to eat if you're not worried about cost.

My wife and I come here every time we come to Heber. We went there last night for our honeymoon and the food was spectacular as always. The Cuban pulled pork sandwich had the perfect amount of spices, cheese, and condiments and came on an artisan-styled bread. For my side, I ordered the veggie which happened to be sauteed broccoli with Italian breadcrumbs. The veggie seemed to be a tad bit on the buttery side but it was good nonetheless. My wife ordered the key west ceasar salad with grilled salmon and switched the ceasar dressing for a balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was remarkable and had the perfect blend of flavor and not too much dressing to drown out the flavor of the salmon. For desert we shared the peach and blackberry cobbler that came topped with vanilla gelato. The desert hit the spot and made me reminisce about the cobblers my Mom used to make when I was young. There were several other deserts on the menu that we wanted to try such as the Vermonteer and the Hawaiian Copa- we might have to go back tonight and get one to go along with some in season pumpkin gelato. This restaurant is a great and it's one that you definitely need to go to if you're in Heber.

Pulled BBQ chicken sandwich is not bbqd at all. Don't go here, so bad.

Spin Cafe is okay. Their food is okay, their dessert is excellent, and their service is so-so. I have had the same waitress pretty much every time I've been in. The first time, I asked for a recommendation between 2 options I was stuck between. She looked at me like she had never been asked for a reccomedation in her whole life, and was just like "get whatever you want." Yesterday, literally every time we ordered something, she asked if we were okay with the ingredients in it....? Even though those ingredients were on the menu. If I had a problem with it, I'd tell her. Lol. The service took a while too but my buffalo burger was pretty decent.
(3)Stacey P.
We happened upon this little gem in search of soup after a long morning of hiking. Never expected to find something this great in an otherwise "blah" area. Walked in and was surprised as how cute/deco the decor was. The menu was diverse and claimed soups were all homemade. That day they had beef barley with some pulled pork. It was probably the best soup I have had in ages. Clearly homemade and hearty. My boyfriend had the Miss Piggy sandwich. Oh my! A pulled pork meets sloppy joe meets grilled cheese messy wonder of a sandwich with a side of curly fries. It was truly a great meal. The only problem is we will now dream about the Miss Piggy sandwich when we return home to New Jersey.
(5)Wayne P.
Coffee was great. Open Sundays!!
(4)Perry N.
We LOVE the Spin Cafe and always eat there when we go through Heber. Fresh ingredients prepared masterfully and a fun menu with great variety. Save room for gelato and espresso as both are amazing! Highly recommend.
(5)Brandon S.
My wife and I like this place. The food is pretty good. They got a little of everything here. I like the BBQ spaghetti. The gelato is good if you remember to save room.
(4)JP L.
great veggie farmer's sandwich! fun place. service is a little thin, but they were nice.
(4)Andrea G.
I thought this place looked a little like a cheap diner from the outside but inside is very warm and welcoming. I was doubly surprised at how great the food was. I've been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. My all-time favorite is the BBQ beef sandwich with onion rings or fries. Both are great. Another great winner is the pulled pork sandwich. I would be doing all of Utah a disservice though if I didn't talk about their gelato. I'm a gelato snob. When I was in Italy I had it every day, sometimes twice and the owners of Spin Cafe definitely know what they are doing here. Not only do they have traditional flavors but they aren't afraid to perk things up. One of my favorites has been the ginger gelato. The most unique one I have tried there is the bacon-chocolate gelato. A bit strange, but good!
(5)Kurt W.
Thought this place had a good atmosphere and decent pricing. Food was decent.
(3)Denise B.
We stopped here after snowmobiling down the road at Rocky Mountain Outfitters. Previous Yelp reviews raved about the gelato & barbeque and they were right! The service was friendly and the perfect speed - not too slow, not too fast. The barbeque was amazing! Almost everyone in our group had some type and no one was disappointed. There was even a barbeque barley soup that was delicious. No matter how full you have to have some of the gelato. There was a nice assortment of favors that seemed to vary by day. You can't go wrong with the double chocolate. This was a nice break from downtown Park City restaurants and worth the short drive.
(5)Danielle L.
I have been here on several occasions, both dine in and take out, and have been very please with the food. The service, however, more often than not is lacking in one way or another. On this particular occasion, I called in to place an order so my friend could pick it up on her way back from lunch. I was busy and the office and did not have a vehicle. I was told by Marrissa, or Melissa(couldn't understand when she said it) that they were not taking to go orders at that time. I was naturally stunned, I mean how long does it take to take down a salad order and pass it back to the chef, it certainly would not have taken her any longer to take the order than it did for her to tell me that they weren't taking orders. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I have a thing about customer service and refuse to visit a place that is willing to take your money but not provide anything in return. There are plenty of places in town to eat, more than just fast food, if you know where to look so I will be giving them my business from now on. P.S. the only reason I gave two stars is because the food is good. But good food is not enough to keep me coming back, and after several encounters with a mediocre staff at best, I will not be going back.
(2)Christie B.
First time here, lunch with the girls. Thanks, Candace. Wonderfully clean and delicious food. I will definitely return.
(5)Tom K.
This is a great restaurant and a bright star in Heber! We had read some negative reviews on other sites and were a bit skeptical. But friends had loved it. And we did too. I had the BBQ spaghetti -- simply fabulous! We didn't have a chance to try the gelato, and were disappointed to come by just after closing another time on a Sunday. I highly recommend!
(5)Sarah F.
I can't give it 5 stars because our server seemed really unhappy to be talking to us, but the food was great and they sat our entire family without a wait. btw - The cobbler dessert was fantastic.
(4)Mit M.
This place has excellent food! Everyone meal was great. Very nice people who take the time to make it right. Please stop and enjoy a meal. Better than park city!
(5)Vincent P.
OK 5 stars but I only had desert... I had for the first Time a Affogato...Espresso over creme Bru lee Geloto with whip cream...perfection... Service was great they helped me find a taxi and seemed nice to outsiders... Decor seemed great with big neon signs cute booths with pendent lights... Loved the Wine spectator magazine in the waiting area... --------------------------------------------------Â------------------------------------------ ok so second vist....9/12/07 ate lunch Pulled pork sandwich was good right amout of cheese and good bun..side salad had a nice thick Balsamic vingerete... had pork lettus wraps the teroki sause was great......you get five leaves of butter lettus and enough pulled pork... Servis put up with us asking a millon goofy quetions..."Your on a desert Island. what would you eat off your menu, if you had to pick one thing and had to eat the same thing for 2 weeks?" etc...and there sugetions where good.... my freind did have a peice of grisil in his side of the pork sandwich... but mine was great so Officaly I'm giveing it a 4.5 but since thats not possible I'll still give it a five...
(5)Debra G.
Just had lunch at Spin and it was delightful! Good food, good service, lovely atmosphere. Order a cream soda! The brisket sandwich was yummy and onion rings are light and sweet.
(5)Benjamin L.
Nice looking restaurant. Food is ok, but the service was spotty and not very attentive. I had a salmon sandwich, which was a little dry and over-cooked. The curly fries were nice though. The home-made cole-slaw was ok. Tried to get a refill on my coffee, but was told that it would cost me another coffee. My girlfriend had the BBQ'd chicken... Nice smokey flavor, but chicken seemed a touch undercooked. Didn't try the gelato's but they did look very appealing. 2-2-2009 Went back again, and was sorely disappointed. I remember why I didn't like it the first time. Service was dismal, and food was very average to say the least.
(3)Brett M.
Really good. Heber needs a place like this. Food is great, service is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable.
(5)Elle S.
"Yay! I'm a fan." After a day of driving around the Wasatch, we weren't expecting much from the food selection in a small town. Spin City had several interest-sparking remarks, so we went for it. We both ordered burgers (no sauce, because I'm weird about new sauces) that came out juicy and cooked properly. They also came with a mountain of fries... I finished half the burger and about half the fries. These are "American-sized" portions and could be split. The gelato was really good and noticeably fresh. I totally buy the statement that they make it themselves every day. We both tried several flavors before I settled on a half-half of something with peanut butter and something with chocolate. I also stole a few bites from the cup my mom ordered. A very nice ending to a pleasant meal. If you're driving through, this place is worth checking out.

Summary: - Expensive - Poor Customer Service - Long wait times Explanation: After a round of golf in Heber, we thought we'd get a bite to eat. Dairy Keen (our usual place) was jam-packed, so we Yelped to find another good place and came across this Spin Cafe. We were first greeted by a hostess that was less than pleased to see us, let alone sit us at a table. After that everything seemed fine, until we ordered our food. The menu clearly states that meals can take 15 minutes to get ready. Even with a disclaimer like that, it's still terrible service. I would recommend getting a few other cooks. Anyway, even with that disclaimer in mind, our 2 meals (yes, TWO plates of food) took between 25-30 minutes. Yes, almost double what they "say" it will take. To top it all off, the food wasn't even that good and the portion sizes were tiny! I got a mediocre burger that was dry and tasted like cardboard. The price for my meal started at $10, but then if you wanted extra toppings on your burger, that added about $2.50 per topping. I added bacon and avocado which cost an extra $5!! Ridiculous. I could go to Chilis or Red Robin and get all of that for $10!! Long story short: Stick with Granny's or Dairy Keen when visiting Heber City. You'll save a lot of time and money.
(2)Mj D.
The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to write home about. We got a burger and the pulled pork sandwich. The slaw on the pulled pork sandwich was really great, but the bbq sauce I felt was really one note and the pork lacked flavor. The BBQ beans had great flavor but needed to be cooked longer. The burger was way overdone (we asked for medium) and was also dry. It tasted a bit charred. The onion rings were really great and I would highly recommend. The batter was light and the onions were cooked but still firm enough to bite into. Their bleu cheese dressing was fantastic too, definitely fresh and not bottled. Servers were really nice, but it took 20 minutes to get our soft drinks. It was however a Sunday so I could see them running a leaner staff that day. All in all there were a few great notes, but overall everything else was just ok. I'd go back for onion rings and gelato, but not for a full meal.
(3)Brynn R.
This barbecue and American diner was a cool find! It had a super casual, 70s diner kind of vibe. They are known around town for their barbecue and they make everything from scratch on site, including their barbecue, which they cook for 12 hours. They also make their own gelato. There were only two waitresses but they did a great job. Ours was very attentive and friendly. The brisket special was too fatty but the barbecue beef sandwich was to die for - I'd recommend it over anything else. The grilled ham/pork and cheese were average. I got the wings and they were very good, only the sauce was a lot sweeter than I thought it'd be and there was a LOT of it. I'm a huge sauce fan but this was too much! I had to shake my wings off as I picked them up! I got a free small gelato for checking in on yelp and I got the peanut butter cup. Very good! Overall, this was a charming, hearty comfort food joint and id come back.
(4)Jeff S.
Had the Buffalo burger. It was nicely seasoned topped with carmelized red onion. The sides of apple slaw, baked beans and Tuscan Broccoli were homemade. Had to end with the Gelatto which was quite tasty. Peach made with fresh peaches and white chocolate almond biscotti Friendly service.

My mom and I were passing through Heber on our way to Salt Lake City, and we started getting hungry. We decided to stop at the highest rated place, which was the Spin Cafe. When we first walked in, we saw the gelato counter with a dozen different flavors to choose from. They seemed a little busier than expected, so they told us it would be about ten minutes to seat us. This estimate was dead on, and we were seated in a very air conditioned dining area. It took a few more minutes for the waitress to come by, but she took our order quickly and brought our drinks promptly as well. The food took about fifteen minutes to arrive. I ordered the Spin Burger, minus the onions and plus tomatoes (free), pickles (free), and a portobello mushroom (~$3 extra), with fries as the side. My mom ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came with a mustard cole slaw on top and a salad on the side. We were both very satisfied with our orders and we both finished our meals, which is fairly rare for us. For dessert, we sampled a few gelato flavors before getting a small creme brulee gelato (mom) and a cookies and cream gelato (me). They must have misheard me, because they brought me chocolate peanut butter instead, which I didn't complain about since it was also very good. The small gelatos were extremely generous, and I didn't even finish mine. Our waitress was quick to drop the bill and quick to cash us out although it was clear that she was very busy. Everyone who worked here was friendly and quick to provide any service. TL;DR - Service was pretty quick, Spin Burger and pulled pork sandwich were both very good, gelato was good and came in very large servings, and the dining room was very cold! I would definitely come back if I ever planned on coming out this way again, but I would have brought a sweater!

After a long Sunday afternoon of hiking, I rolled into Heber City starving. My expectations are never very high when I try to eat out on a Sunday in Utah. Spin Cafe completely took me by surprise. My waiter, Corey, was great. Friendly and professional. I had the white bean tortilla soup to start, which came with a freshly baked piece of focaccia bread. So yummy. I had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich. Loved the mustard slaw it came with. Very glad I stumbled upon this place.
(5)Andrea M.
The food is really good, but the prices are too high in my opinion. It's one of the only places open in Heber on Sunday so we always end up here. A sandwich, a hamburger and a kids meal was $50 for lunch. My husband got the spin burger. He said the burger was great, half a pound of juicy, flavorful beef. The caramelized onions on the burger were not good, he thought they had a weird flavor. I ordered the miss piggy which is delicious... A sort of grilled cheese/pulled pork combo. Yummy. The fries are curly and really good. We ordered a side of their home made blue cheese dipping sauce which is to DIE for. Their ranch is also great and homemade. Kids meals are just regular, nothing special, chicken fingers or grilled cheese but cost $8. Ugh. Worst. They also make gelato and the flavors change regularly. It's delicious but a small cup is $5. In general I'm never one to worry about price and I love spending money on good food. But be prepared to spend a lot here for sandwiches and fries. Good service and nice ambiance. I wish I could do 3.5 stars but I'm giving 4 because the food is really good.

We went there because we saw a sign that said "best of Heber city" so I looked at the reviews and they were good so we decided to eat there. I got a chicken sandwich with their spin fries and my husband got their chicken wings. The chicken sandwich was ok nothing out of this world and the chicken wings were big but dry and super soggy. They weren't crispy but they were grilled I just wished they had more flavor and the actual chicken wasn't so dry plus I like my wings crispy. The gelato was amazing! We got 4 different kinds and loved the triple chocolate the best. We thought they were way over priced for the quality of the food. It was ok but we probably wouldn't go back.

Amazing food and friendly staff!! Great value definitely stop by if your up this way!!

Went there on our tour of Utah. It is a small unassuming place. The wife had Ravioli, which was of a quality befitting a five star restaurant. I had the Cowboy steak with sides of garlic potatoes and tuscan brocolli. The potatoes were very tasty and the brocolli was crisp and wonderful. We topped it off with raspberry cheesecake gelato...... the best I have ever tasted !! This is a hidden gem and a must try.

My husband and I were visiting Heber for the first time and were craving BBQ. We happened upon this cafe and are so thankful we did! The place was a little trendy and did not look like your typical BBQ restaurant but the food did not disappoint. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich. The meat was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The onion rings were huge and the taste was amazing! I ordered the Miss Piggy. Horrible name- ridiculously amazing sandwich! It's a combination of a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich and a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The ingredients tasted fresh and worked very well together.

Wasn't worth the money. A little pricey and I can get better food for cheaper somewhere else. Not going back.

Their food just gets a meh from me. Service can either be pleasant or just okay, depending on who you get. Gelato is pretty good, but I won't come again for an actual sit down meal, because it's forgettable and expensive.

Stopped for a quick lunch and had an excellent smoked, BBQ brisket with slaw and a craft beer. Clean, friendly atmosphere.

Great menu! Everything looked good on menu. Do not miss gelato Great service. Great value!

Great place for a bite to eat. The little piggy sandwich, fries, BBQ sandwich, gelato and service were great. There's not a lot of places in Heber or Midway to get a good, non-fast food place to eat, so it's awesome when you come across a great find. Thank you Yelpers for guiding us to Spin Café. We'll definitely be back.

Tyson made our first visit wonderful. He had some strong help from the kitchen. We arrived at 7 on a Friday night, just at the end of dinner rush. We enjoyed the modern, classy atmosphere while we waited a few minutes to be seated. This is not a cheap place to eat, but it is a good value. We ordered the Caesar salad and ravioli special- three cheese tortellini. Both were excellently executed and memorable. Luckily, there was some asparagus left on the kitchen. It was fantastic grilled then garnished with lemon juice. For dessert, the small gingerbread gelato was rich enough to share. It had real soft gingerbread pieces and I even detected a crunchy flake of ginger. We will be returning!

I got the chicken sandwich which was tasty and loved the seasoning on the spinny fries. The service was good as all our needs were met. Price is reasonable. They could use some outdoor seating for dining and then this place would be awesome!!

One of our favorite places! Miss Piggy is one of their best dishes. Also, the buffalo burger is amazing. Grilled onions, crash cheddar, gelato, friendly and helpful service.... We've never had a bad meal here and have been eating here for the last 5 years. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star is that service is a bit slow after you place your order.
(4)Barbara A.
Food is AMAZING! Staff is friendly and always willing to help you find exactly the right dish.
(5)Joel C.
So disappointed. We've tried this place a few times now hoping we just ordered the wrong thing each time. Nope. Just poor overrated food every time. Particularly bad was the stir fry for 15.00. Wow what a rip off for something that was so average and that I could have made at home. Step it up guys.

I was a bit apprehensive going in but I must say it was the best grilled salmon I've ever tasted. Everything was cooked to perfection! What a great find!

Anytime we are in Heber, we stop at Spin Cafe. Gelato is fantastic. Also great for lunch or dinner. The ribs stand out as my favorite. Interior if restaurant is charming and the staff knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended.

What a great experience- we had the cowboy quesadilla to start, the buffalo burger and smoked wings. All were surprisingly delicious! The service was on the mark. I just have to say that I have had buffalo before and because of the low fat content it has not been anything to rave about but this one is seasoned to perfection!

I visited the spin cafe looking for some quick lunch. The menu had a lot of great options and the atmosphere seemed great. The reason for the low rating is this: the shrimp on their seaside panini was not deveined. They also use those creepy tiny shrimp. This, at least to me, says the spin cafe does not care about their food or their customers.

Awesome food, awesome gelato, and awesome genuine speedy service from Corey the waiter.
(5)Mona P.
So disappointing! Cafeteria food at best with much higher prices. The brisket was so dry and fatty. Took home a Doggy bag. Salmon was ok, broccoli swimming in butter, and all you cold taste of the apple slaw was the poor quality mayonnaise . I couldn't eat it. Save your money.
(1)June R.
Great food and great service. The beef brisket melts in your mouth . . . .plenty to share.
(5)Jason C.
The food was good, it was just waaaaayyyy to expensive. We ordered the cheapest things that sounded good and we ended up spending 35 bucks just on food for lunch on a Sunday....
(3)Destry W.
It was one of the few things open on Sunday afternoon in this quite little town so wasn't expecting much, but was presently surprised. Great ribs and pasta dishes served by an enthusiastic wait staff.
(5)Sonia R.
Their coin fries were to die for. Everything is home made including their fry sauce! Gelato is a 5 pulled pork is a 5 and their homemade onion rings alone are mouthwatering..

Not often that I give 5 stars, especially not for a restaurant that serves burgers. Of course that is only one thing on menu. Have tried 2 burgers here, wife has had turkey and brisket, both were unique and amazing! These folks understand Gluten Free, a welcome relief! Gluten free onion rings are out of this world. The blue cheese is the best I have ever had! I can honestly say this was truly a 5 star burger! I love the tableware and decor is comfortable. If I were to be critical it would be about the price and use of paper vs linen napkins. For the price I think linens wouldn't be out of the question. Food is a tad pricey but well worth it! Awesome place, I met the owner and she is super nice and truly cares about doing a fine job! Hats off!
(5)Tom W.
Great food. Service is a bit slow.
(4)Lynne S.
We got there early, and there were only two other tables. The service was slow, but the waitress was very nice. There is a lot to choose from on the menu! I had the smoked trout salad, and it was ok but bland. My husband had a steak special that was really good, but he thought it was too spicy. The highlight of the meal was the chocolate chunk coconut gelato that we got complimentary for checking in on yelp! It is also a bit pricey for the area.
(2)Liz W.
Service was 4 star, food was 3 1/2 stars. Onion rings were slightly undercooked, brisket was super TENDER but not super flavorful (BBQ was good though). Gelato was SCREAMING good. -10 stars. Ambiance is good, fire place adds a lot. Screaming toddler not so much. I'd give it a second try if I lived here.
(4)Randolph F.
We had the Wednesday special, the Cuban sandwich. Our dessert was a shared triple chocolate brownie with gelato. Both were to die for.
(5)Lee B.
Good local food to Heber. It's open on Sunday's which is apparently not common. Their gelato is fantastic.
(4)Zippy T.
Over prices and too-small portions. That said, everything is top notch. Seattle BLT is IMO the best sandwich in Utah. (Salmon filet sandwich). Flavoring on everything is way above average. The spin fries are oh so good. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Spin Cafe is alright at it's best. I have been there twice just so I could have a valid opinion about the food that's being served and my opinions aren't too great. The wait time to be seated was really short for me personally, which is great but you have to wait a whole hour until your food arrives at the table (keep in mind that I came in on a slow Sunday). On top of the hour wait are the employees who all look like they are having an awful time. Every single employee had blank/aggravated looks and the work pace seemed as if it was slowed tenfold. I know that working in food isn't the best but at least put on a fake smile so I can at least have good vibes while trying to decide on the limited menu. The only good part about Spin is the gelato but with everything else, it too appears lackluster. Spin does have a good variety of different items to choose from but since they are ALL so different from eachother it makes choosing one more of an ordeal then it needs to be. I got the "Honey Bee" (Chicken sandwich with Parmesan Cheese) with fries and it was pretty good but not nearly good enough for the hour wait. The normal fries have a salty and sugary taste and it was my favorite part. Spin Cafe is a place I would go to if my friends invited me, but I wouldn't choose this place on my own when better options are literally around the corner.

I went here years ago and remember it being very good. I think things must have gone downhill since then. We went here for dinner this past weekend. The place is clean and cute enough. We ordered wings for an appetizer, which were okay. I ordered the spin burger with fries. The boyfriend ordered a cowboy steak with roasted potatoes and broccoli. Both were disgusting. His steak was over seasoned and just tasted bad. The potatoes were under cooked and hard. The broccoli was covered with soggy bread crumbs. All and all, not a good meal. My burger would have been decent, but they covered it in "caramelized" onions. AKA, a large glop of super soggy purple onions that looked like worms. This ruined the taste of the burger. The fries were a bit off, too. I couldn't put my finger on it until my boyfriend figured out they were covered in sugar and seasoned salt. This is not a good way to season fries. The only redeeming factor was the gelatto, but I could have done without that as well. I noticed the bus boy cleaning the tables would spray cleaning liquid all over without removing the salt and pepper shakers from the tables beforehand. So basically you are shaking chemicals onto your food. Gross. For a $50 dinner, this was a pretty bad experience. I'd avoid this place and just go to a fast food joint.

Would that all small town cafes were like this. Good quality ingredients, professionally prepared and served, and pleasant ambiance. We split a barbecue chicken sandwich special and got both types of cole slaw as part of an ongoing investigation of the top local slaw. The non-mustardy one is a contender.
(4)Kate C.
We tried the specials: cowboy steak and ravioli--which both were wonderful! The restaurant is adorable and the prices are more than reasonable. We also had the chocolate hazelnut gelato which was up there with the gelato that I had in Italy. Super impressed!
(5)C. H.
Pulled pork was good and potatoes bun was okay. Onion rings were not good. They lacked flavor. Nice size rings but i didn't enjoy them. Not worth the extra $2.50 either. Nothing too special to stand out. I had the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings for just under $16. Too expensive for what it is.
(3)Maggie B.
I haven't yet had a bad meal here! The spinny fries are awesome; my boyfriend and I love them. The homemade gelato tastes amazing and their shakes are really good too! I love the atmosphere and the unique menu options. It's a little pricier than other local restaurants, but it's worth it.
(5)Lars R.
The service was great, but the food was average... It's also slightly overpriced but on a Sunday night in Heber it's not a bad option.
(3)Lizzy P.
A long wait time in an almost empty restaurant. The menu appeared that it had lots of gluten free vegetarian items to choose from, but there really wasn't - I got some soup and salad. And GF onion rings were pretty good! The gelato was yummy, and the place is very nice inside, but for the most part it was a disappointing eating experience.
(3)JD P.
Great menu. Eclectic atmosphere. Good Gelato. Can get a bit crowded on the weekend and evenings.
(4)Keri B.
Gluten free onion rings are the bomb! Make sure and order their special blue cheese sauce, I don't even like blue cheese but this is delish. I've eaten here several times now (hello! Gluten free onion rings!!!) and every entrée I've had has been outstanding, worth writing home about, worth calling all your friends and saying "you've got to try this place!" (Hello! Gluten free onion rings!). Def my fav restaurant in this part of the world. Oh and the service is very friendly, met the owner and she was supper friendly and supper sweet (no she's not on the menu) but she offered us gelato and we were way too full. Oh did I mention, GLUTEN FREE ONION RINGS?
(5)jessica r.
Veggie burger was just okay. The party was grainy and mushroomy - not my favorite texture/flavor mix. I wouldn't get it again. The onion rings were totally worth the caloric splurge. Piping hot when they came out. Overall, a fine place in this little town. A little overpriced for what they offer, but it works.

Don't know what all the good reviews were tasting but for the $$$ this place was gross! Soggy spinny fries. The chicken alfredo stuff was wierd. Never again spin!
